There are plenty of shops, restaurants and parks nearby so everything you need is close. It's not as crowded or noisy as other parts of Kolkata, and the greenery makes it feel fresh. People here are decent and the area has nice vibe. Perfect if you want a clean and comfortable place to live with all the essentials nearby.

Parking is also an issue in some areas. While public transport is good, metro connectivity is still a bit far. The cost of living is slightly higher compared to other parts of Kolkata. Some inner lanes may need better maintenance. Some petty crimes like phone snatching can also happen in crowded areas.

Alipore is known for the famous zoo. public transport is fabulous in here. theres always buses and cabs available for transportation. Good Neighbors, great parks.the roads are mostly clean.

sometimes theres high pollution in this areas. In winter season theres frequent traffic jams because many people come to the zoo during this period. Theres no nearby small local shops like vegetable markets fish markets etc.
