In prime locality with all facilities available in close vicinity.... Schools, hospitals and market nearby..bus facility is excellent...near the main road and safe area...well maintained with proper security. Electricity and water backup . Association takes care of concerns as and when required..

A bit of traffic rush on the main road..no park or play area for children..a bit of pollution... parking area is a bit conjusted..

i love this city. the main city is state Bank and hampankatta, but i love kankanady very much. i used to live in kankanady for 3 years during my college days the transport facility is awesome than any other locality Mangalore. there are somany good restaurants available with delicious and pocket friendly. there are many College hostels and PGS are available with wide range of facilities like mv Shetty girls hostel . good hospital facilities are available.

there is no metro station or metro facility available auto drivers are not cool enough. no good drainage system available.

It's the centre point of the city, which is covered by a hospital, bus stand, railway station, banks, ATM, medical shops, and a supermarket, which are essential factors in everyone's day-to-day life. The distance is 3-5 km.

There is no cab service available after 9 p.m., which will make it difficult for passengers coming from railway stations or bus stands.

Good transportation is available also less traffic Within 2 km of radius best food is available, best hospitals nearby , frequent police patrolling in the night

Rickshaw drivers are charging high and the roads are ok not the best, dogs are a bit more in some turnings

If we are talking about negatives, i doubt which there is any. No metro is available Parking slots are limited, which are mostly available to customers to the respective shops
