The area is well connected with good public transport options including easy availablity of Cabs and autos and proximity to metro station. We appreciate the green spaces and overall environment which is considered pleasant and conducting to a good lifestyle. The locality is safe with good security measures. There are good schools, hospitals and markets nearby making it convenient for daily needs.

Some areas face frequent traffic jams during rush hours which can be a hassle. The area lacks parking spaces which cause difficulty to park vehicles. Also there are concern about pollution levels in the area which can be bothersome.

It has good connectivity to other parts of the city through buses, trains, and metro. The area has several markets, shopping malls, schools, and hospitals, which make it a convenient place to live in. One of the most popular landmarks in Dum Dum Park. The park is a popular destination for morning and evening walks, and it also has a children's play area.

It is a densely populated locality with a mix of residential and commercial buildings, and it is known for its busy markets and shopping areas. While there may be some challenges that come with living in a densely populated area, such as traffic congestion and noise pollution.

I was staying in this place for 13years of my life and it is beautiful. This north part of kolkata is a town itself with 5 ponds and loads of greenery, this place is an aesthetic itself. Residents who reside here are very much into morning/evening walking as walking around the ponds is actually very peaceful. There is also a bazaar nearby there are 3 reputated pharmacy and a Chinese cuisine restaurant. Stationary and government school is also of walking distance. Overall a very good place to stay.

People over there are very much into politics, although there is no public harrasment or any kind of nuisance related this topic but rantings about government is usual. Other than that metro convinience is a bit far, but cab services are quite good. Too many ponds around this area makes the climate very humid during summers. As this area is in the north 24 parganas district, good hospitals and south part of kolkata get very far to reach. Connecting highways are nearby but getting a decent yellow taxi is very hard from this area.

Dum Dum Park is one of the best localities of North Kolkata, with five big lakes. Once you are in this area you will feel the serenity of the place. 5 mins from New Town and Salt Lake. This area has the biggest Durga Pujas. Extremely well located and close to all amenities like the market, mall, schools, airport, metro stations, railway station, etc.

Sometimes after Durga Puja, the pandals take a long to open causing road blockages. Also, the biggest play field is occupied by Saurav Ganguly academy.

There are many residential complex which provides a friendly environment for the people. Grocery and stationery shops are nearby. There are gardens and park for all the people to come and have fresh air(suitable for evening and morning walks). Metro station is 15 mins away and bus stand is 6-7 mins away.

There are no good schools nearby. Reputed schools are not there in the area. The roads are not maintained and there are traffic jams as well. The area is not clean and hygienic. Garbage can be seen every now and then on the roads.

Dum Dum is the best place to live.you will get school,colleges,hospital,metro,bus,etc nearly in 5 minutes. Transport systems is very good in our locality. And the people near us they are also good in behaviour. And the roads also good.water supply is also better.

The negative things in dum dum is that the water has so much irons and in the evening there was a lot of mosquito around us.By their bites so many people were suffering from malaria.

Power cuts are very common.its too expensive area .no metro available. fewer malls are available, and good hospitals are nearby.

Overall good for living because of markets are available in short distance and metro station at nearby namely dum dum metro station for travel .

Every place have a little problem, for overcrowding in a day environment is polluted and unhygienic also in dum dum.

Everything you can get in front of your door... Shopping mall, school, college, cinema hall, airport, station, bus stop everything you can get within 2-3 km.. ( Max)

Footpaths are so dirty sometimes. It's very peaceful to live your normal life & happy life here

The area is very busy and beautiful. There you can get easily get uber,ola, metro, railways station, bazzar,ect. The biggest festival of Bengal Durga puja is organised and the people are living happy and the enviourment is really good.

The area is little bit danger at midnight of speed of car and bars. There are some areas street are not repair for a five years.
